What is Pink Noise?

Pink Noise

Have you heard of white noise? Similar to white noise, pink noise contains frequencies of sounds humans can hear.

However, with pink noise, the higher frequencies of sound are less intense. This is less overwhelming and more pleasant to the ear.

All the affirmation audios have a layer of pink noise added to them.

THE SCIENCE OF PINK NOISE

A recent study published in 2017 examined pink noise on sleep for a group of 13 adults and found that pink noise helped slow wave activity, associated with deep sleep.

A similar 2016 study found that pink noise also improved sleep and memory for younger adults taking a daytime nap.

Several studies in 2012 and 2013 found that pink noise could result in deeper and longer sleep. It also helped improve memory. This was true for both nighttime sleep and daytime naps.
